We’re Guarding Retrieved Electoral Materials — Police
The Nigerian Police Force [NPF] has assured Nigerians that its personnels are all retrieved sensitive/non-sensitive electoral materials across the country ahead of the February 23 Presidential/National Assembly elections.
The Acting Inspector-General of Police [IGP], Mohammed Adamu gave the assurance on Wednesday on the police official Twitter handle.
A-g IGP Adamu also reiterated Police’s readiness to provide adequate security and to be professional, and nonpartisan, as well as apolitical in the elections.

Earlier on Tuesday, the police had urged Nigerians to work with the Police to serve better.
It said: “Work with the @PoliceNG to serve you better.
“As the rescheduled days for general elections draw nearer, don’t hesitate to report electoral offences, unprofessional conduct of @PoliceNG Officers using the numbers under this #Thread #VoteNotFight #NigeriaDecides2019.”
