Ibadan-based cab driver, Hafeez Adedigba, recently shared that he wears his wife’s clothing to deal with the rainy season.

Adedigba went viral after being seen driving in a woman’s outfit in the Oyo state capital.

He revealed this unusual choice in a recent interview with content creator, Ayo Adams.

“During heavy rainfall, my clothes get soaked while driving, I change into my wife’s dress to stay dry and comfortable. I switched back to my clothes when the rain stopped,” he said.

He revealed that he had discussed his decision with his wife, who agreed to let him use her dresses.

The cab driver also revealed he doesn’t care about public criticism, stating that he’s only focused on providing for his family.

“Although people speak against it, I do not care about whatever they say because I remain focused on what I do.

“I have been driving a cab for many years. We are only praying to God to show us mercy. From a young age, I learnt how to trade tyres. But when things did not go well for me I had to switch to driving a taxi.

“As for my wife’s clothes, I have about two that I wear. When I took it from home, I told her I wanted to use it in my car and she agreed. I do not fight with people. Whoever is looking for money does not fight. The scar on my chest was from an accident I had,” he said.
