Big Brother Naija housemate Tram has addressed lingering rumors surrounding a viral car accident that allegedly left him owing over ₦400 million in damages, firmly denying the claims and expressing disappointment over public reactions.

Speaking during a recent interview, the 24-year-old Lagos-based streamer clarified that he is not responsible for such a massive debt, explaining that the vehicles involved in the crash did not belong to him. According to Tram, both cars—a Corvette he was driving and a Dodge Challenger were owned by a friend who was also present during the incident.

“First of all, I don’t owe ₦400 million. None of the cars were rented; they belonged to my friend, who was also involved in the accident,” he stated.

The accident, which reportedly occurred in September 2024 at Eko Atlantic City, sparked widespread reactions online at the time, with many focusing on the luxury vehicles and the estimated cost of damages.

However, Tram expressed concern that the public seemed more interested in the value of the cars than in his well-being.

“Nigerians cared more about the car than whether I was alive,” he added, highlighting what he sees as a troubling societal mindset.

Now a contestant in the ongoing BBNaija season, Tram has quickly become a topic of conversation among fans. As the first male housemate introduced during the July 26 premiere, he has already stirred attention with his personality and interactions in the house.

Viewers have noted his growing rapport with fellow housemates Sheba and Neche, sparking early fan ships and online buzz tagged “Trammania.” While opinions remain divided, many believe his backstory and resilience could make him one of the standout personalities this season.
