SDA Church in conjunction with STDF offers scholarship to indigent students to Clifford University

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church in conjunction with Spring Time Development Foundation have announced an open scholarship to indigent students to Clifford University, Owerrinta in Imo State.

In press statement obtained by ElombahNews and signed by it’s education Directors, Alozie and yetunde said the scholarship is open for indigent members of the church who must have effected a change of institution to Clifford University.

The statement further said the aspiring student must be a member of the church who is good and regular and must have obtained 5 o’level credits especially in mathematics and English language.

Western Union Conference Administration in conjunction with Spring Time Development Foundation is awarding scholarship to indigent students to pursue undergraduate degree programs at Clifford University, Owerrinta.

Candidates will be evaluated through a test that will be holding at zonal conference Headquarters namely, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Umuahia, Isiugu Aba and Calabar on Sunday February 14, 2021 at 10 a.m prompt.

The scholarship is open for all indigent seventh-day Adventist students in Eastern Nigeria Union conference.

Study courses: All courses offered by Clifford University.

Scholarship provider: Spring Time Development Foundation

Eligibility: An applicant must meet the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship

-Student seeking admission into the University for 2020/21 academy year.

-Must be willing to pursue a degree in Clifford University.

-Must be an indigent student

-Must have written 2020 UTME with a score of not less than 160 and 5 o’level credits especially in mathematics and English language.

-A Seventh-Day adventist, good and regular.

-Must have effected a change of institution to Clifford University.

-Must write the scholarship examination scheduled for February 14th ,2020.

Duration of award(s) 4 or 5 years depending on the course of study.

What does it cover? – the scholarship covers tuition, accommodation and feeding.

Selection: Awards will be recommended to the ENUC executive committee after careful review, evaluation and scoring by the scholarship selection committee.

Awards will be made primarily on gradepoints average, emphasis will be placed on financial needs and field representation.

How to apply: Application should be submitted to the venue of examination.

The following submissions are required:

-Handwritten application to the education director, ENUC.

-Photocopy of SSCE/NECO results and jamb results print out

-Two written letters of recommendation, one must be from your local church pastor
