ABUJA, NIGERIA – The Christian Association of Nigeria has called on the Federal Government to place greater priority on the protection of schools and children across the country amid growing security concerns.

The association expressed concern over threats facing educational institutions and the safety of children, stressing that urgent measures are needed to prevent violence and insecurity from disrupting learning activities.

CAN stated that children remain among the most vulnerable groups in society and require stronger protection mechanisms to safeguard their lives, education, and future development.

Concerns Over Safety Of Schools

The organization noted that insecurity affecting schools has continued to create anxiety among parents, teachers, and communities across different parts of the country.

According to the association, ensuring safe learning environments should remain a national priority because education plays a critical role in shaping the country’s future.

Call For Government Action
