Edinson Cavani could be heading to Barcelona
Edinson Cavani’s future at Manchester United could be on the edge as The Times Newspaper report that the Uruguay international is keen to join Barcelona at the end of the season after having a poor run with the English side.
The Uruguayan football maestro left Paris Saint German to join Manchester United in 2020.
Cavani, who won the Golden Boot in both Ligue 1 and Serie A, scored 341 goals at club level since moving to Europe in 2007, including 35 in the UEFA Champions League.
The forward won six league titles with Paris Saint-Germain and, with 200 goals and the club’s all-time leading scorer.
Internationally, Cavani won the Copa America in 2011 and has found the net 50 times in 116 appearances for Uruguay.
The 34-year-old striker’s current United deal runs out at the end of the season after he agreed a one-year extension to his contract last summer
