The wife of former Nigerian Deputy Senate President, Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, has returned to Nigeria following her release from a United Kingdom prison.
News Band gathered that Mrs. Ekweremadu arrived in the country on Tuesday.
Though, this comes after she served a six-year sentence handed down by a UK court in connection with a controversial organ harvesting case.
Senator Ekweremadu, the wife and one Dr Obinna Obeta were sentenced to prison by a court for their involvement in the case.
The former Deputy Senate President was sentenced to 10 years, while his wife was sentenced to six years.
Meanwhile, her release is being celebrated across Enugu State, with many hoping to have the Deputy Senate President back in the shortest possible time.
