Governor Seyi Makinde pledged to accelerate Oyo State’s economic growth through infrastructure, innovation, and targeted investments.

Speaking via Deputy Bayo Lawal at EXPOYO 2025’s launch, he emphasized collaboration.

Hosted at Ibadan’s permanent trade complex, EXPOYO 2025 champions agricultural investments to achieve food security and economic stability. Makinde highlighted agribusiness as central to his sustainable development agenda.

His administration upgraded transportation, energy, and security infrastructure to bolster commerce. Interconnected roads now link state zones, easing trade and fostering regional integration.

“Our vision is a thriving economy where businesses flourish,” Makinde declared. He cited the State Industrial Park and improved energy systems as keystones for industrial growth.
