Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a strong warning to Israel and the United States, cautioning that any attack on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure would have serious consequences.

Diaspora digital media (DDM) revailed that his statement comes amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly between Tehran and Tel Aviv.

Abbas Araghchi stressed that any such military action would be a grave miscalculation, leading to swift and decisive retaliation from Iran.

According to Al Jazeera English, hostilities between Iran and Israel have intensified in recent weeks.

Iran recently launched missile strikes against Israeli military positions, which it justified as retaliatory measures.

Tehran has repeatedly accused Israel of engaging in provocative actions, including targeting key Iranian figures.

Abbas Araghchi reiterated that Iran views these strikes as legitimate responses to continued Israeli provocations.

In reaction, Israeli officials have indicated that they might consider preemptive strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, citing national security concerns.

Abbas Araghchi warned that any attack on Iran’s nuclear program would be regarded as an outright declaration of war, carrying potentially catastrophic consequences for the region.

Iran’s military leadership has made it clear that the country is fully prepared to respond to any aggression.

Tehran has even threatened to target key Israeli infrastructure in retaliation.

Abbas Araghchi emphasized that Iran will not hesitate to defend itself if attacked.

Experts warn that an Israeli strike on Iran could destabilize the Middle East and possibly push Tehran to accelerate its nuclear development.

Many analysts compare the current situation to Israel’s 1981 bombing of Iraq’s Osirak nuclear reactor.

That attack led Iraq to continue its nuclear ambitions covertly rather than abandon them.

Similarly, if Iran perceives a direct threat to its nuclear facilities, it may choose to expand its program rather than halt it.

Abbas Araghchi has stated that Iran will not be deterred from pursuing its nuclear goals and will take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty.

While Israel remains firm in its stance against Iran’s nuclear program, the United States has signaled a preference for diplomacy.

The Biden administration has been hesitant to support military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities, instead advocating for negotiations.

Washington has repeatedly urged restraint, seeking to de-escalate tensions rather than risk a broader regional conflict.

However, Israel has expressed concerns that diplomacy alone may not be enough to prevent Iran from achieving nuclear capability.

The ongoing standoff remains highly volatile, with no clear resolution in sight.

Abbas Araghchi has stressed that Iran is open to diplomatic solutions but will not tolerate threats to its sovereignty.

As tensions mount, the decisions made by Iran, Israel, and the United States in the coming weeks will shape the future of the conflict.

Observers fear that without diplomatic breakthroughs, the situation could spiral into a full-scale war, further destabilizing the Middle East.

Abbas Araghchi’s warning underscores the high stakes involved in the crisis.

If Israel moves forward with military action, Iran is likely to respond forcefully, potentially drawing the region into a wider conflict.

The balance between diplomacy and military threats remains delicate, and the world watches closely as events unfold.
