Criminals loyal to Wike behind abduction of 2 Koreans in Rivers — Ekpa

Mr Simon Ekpa, the self acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra Government in Exile, has alleged that criminals loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike masterminded the abduction of two South Koreans in Rivers State.

Ekpa’s allegation comes after Boma Goodhead, a member of the House of Representatives, on Friday during a solidarity march to the Rivers State Government House in support of governor Siminalayi Fubara, accused Wike of orchestrating the assassination of Bako Angbashim, a Divisional Police Officer in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers State.

Bako was killed during exchange of gunfire with a cult gang on September 8.

Police authorities launched a high-level manhunt for the perpetrators of the crime and have reported that suspects have been arrested and are in custody.

Despite no known direct evidence pinning Mr Wike in the crime, Ms Goodhead, a sister to former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, said that Wike and some others should be held accountable for the crime.

Though, tension had been mounting in the last few days as the political altercation between Fubara and his predecessor, Mr Nyesom Wike gained traction

Recall that gunmen on Monday killed six people, including four soldiers and abducted two South Korean expatriates after their convoy was ambushed along the East-West Road in the State.
