Tragic: Police AIG Abubakar Jinjiri dies in Yola, Adamawa

The Assistant Inspector General of the Nigerian Police Force [AIG] in charge of Zone 3 Yola, Adamawa State, Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Jinjiri is dead.

The report of his dead has it that he had cardiac arrest which was said to have attacked him at wee hours of Saturday night in his sleep.

Reports indicated that late Jinjiri who alerted his guards at his official residence in Dougirei quarters of Jimeta Yola was confirmed dead by the officials of the Federal Medical Centre, Yola when he was rushed there for medical attention same night.          

Confirming the development, spokesman of the Adamawa State Police command, DSP Othman Abubakar told Peoples daily in Yola that, the late AIG Jinjiri was rushed to the hospital (FMC Yola) unconsciously where he was declared no more as a result of the hypertension attack on Saturday night.

Abubakar described late Jinjiri as highly committed and disciplined police officer during his life time and the arrangement have been concluded to convey his body to Rano town in Rano Local Government Area of Kano State as demanded by his family.
